These terms and conditions regulate the access and use of Langtern (hereinafter, “Langtern” or the “app”).
The Langtern app is available for download, access and use on Google Play and the App Store, for devices with Android, iOS and iPadOS operating systems. It is available to any user, and is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use, in addition to the Privacy Policy.
When you use Langtern, you agree to the terms of use and agree not to use this app for any illegal, illicit, or contrary to these terms or conditions. Langtern prohibits such conduct and content.
Langtern users over the age of 16 are responsible for their use. If you are a minor, your parents, guardians or legal representatives will be responsible for your actions, or the consequences derived from them.
Langtern is a standalone language learning application that operates entirely on your device. The app provides resources for self-directed learning, including:
All data you create within the app, including flashcard decks, learning progress, and preferences, is stored locally on your device. Langtern does not require an account or internet connection for core functionality (though some features, such as searching for online content, require internet access).
Langtern reserves all its intellectual and industrial property rights, so that the content and information included in the application (images, texts, etc.) are its property or it has the necessary authorizations for its use.
For the content and information collected in this app subject to copyright, any modification, reproduction, copy, distribution or any other form of exploitation for commercial or equivalent purposes is expressly prohibited. Any other use of the content or information will require Langtern’s prior written consent.
Regarding the structure of the app, the user cannot access, create or modify the source code in any way. You also have no right and may not create derivative works of any or all of it. All modifications or improvements are the exclusive property of Langtern.
All data you create or store within Langtern remains on your device. You retain full ownership and control of your data. Langtern does not have access to, collect, or process your data on external servers.
You are responsible for: * Backing up your data * The content you create within the app * Maintaining the security of your device
If you uninstall the app or lose your device, your data may be permanently lost.
The services offered by Langtern will be available while the app is published on Google Play and App Store. Langtern reserves the right to modify the application according to the needs of the moment, so it is possible that updates to the services offered are carried out.
In case the updates contain errors, Langtern will try to correct them as soon as possible.
Langtern is provided “as is” without any guarantees or warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We take no responsibility for any problems you may experience when using Langtern or in relation to Langtern.
Langtern will adopt reasonable measures to ensure the quality and functionality of the application, but will not be responsible for what happens beyond its control.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, Langtern cannot be held responsible for data loss due to device failure, theft, uninstallation, or other circumstances.
In the event of being redirected to other websites or third-party platforms, Langtern will not be responsible for what happens through browsing on them.
This app is available in several languages, so it is not responsible if the user does not understand these languages, nor for the acts that may derive from their lack of understanding.
To the extent permitted by law, Langtern is not responsible for improper or reckless use of the app by users.
The user may not violate or attempt to violate the security of the app, web scrape, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise manipulate any part of the app, as well as attempt to do so for any reason or means. Langtern will not be responsible for the consequences derived from said actions in the event that they occur.
As part of the application, a web assistant is provided that allows you to visit third-party websites. These third-party websites may be governed by their own terms of service. Please review the terms of service of any website you visit through the web assistant and understand that you may be bound by their terms when browsing them.
Langtern reserves the right to update and modify these legal texts without prior notice, so it is recommended that you read them each time you access or use the application.
Any new features that augment or improve the application, including the release of new tools and resources, will be subject to the legal texts. Continued use of the application after such changes shall constitute consent to such changes by the user.
In the event that any clause of these Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, is declared totally or partially null or ineffective, said nullity or ineffectiveness will only affect the same, subsisting the other conditions.
These Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Policy, will be interpreted and governed in accordance with Spanish law. In case of controversy, it will be resolved through an Equity Arbitration of the Court of Arbitration of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Barcelona, with the express waiver of any other jurisdiction that may correspond, except as expressly provided by law.

Estos términos y condiciones regulan el acceso y uso de Langtern (en adelante, “Langtern” o la “app”).
La app de Langtern está disponible para su descarga, acceso y utilización en Google Play y App Store, para dispositivos con sistema operativo Android, iOS y iPadOS. Está disponible para cualquier usuario, y está sujeta a estos Términos y Condiciones de uso, además de la Política de Privacidad.
Cuando utilizas Langtern, aceptas las condiciones de uso y te comprometes a no utilizar esta app para fines ilegales, ilícitos o contrarios a estos términos o condiciones. Langtern prohíbe dicha conducta y contenido.
Los usuarios de Langtern mayores de 16 años son responsables de su uso. En caso de ser menor, tus padres, tutores o representantes legales serán los responsables de tus actos, o de las consecuencias derivadas de los mismos.
Langtern es una aplicación independiente de aprendizaje de idiomas que funciona íntegramente en tu dispositivo. La aplicación proporciona recursos para el aprendizaje autodidacta, incluyendo:
Todos los datos que creas en la aplicación, incluidos mazos de flashcards, progreso de aprendizaje y preferencias, se almacenan localmente en tu dispositivo. Langtern no requiere una cuenta ni conexión a internet para la funcionalidad básica (aunque algunas funciones, como la búsqueda de contenido online, requieren acceso a internet).
Langtern se reserva todos sus derechos de propiedad intelectual e industrial, de forma que el contenido e información incluida en la aplicación (imágenes, textos, etc.) son de su propiedad o dispone de las autorizaciones necesarias para su uso.
Para el contenido y la información recogida en esta app sujeta a copyright, se prohíbe expresamente cualquier modificación, reproducción, copia, distribución o cualquier otra forma de explotación con fines comerciales o equivalentes. Para cualquier otro uso del contenido o de la información será necesario el consentimiento previo y por escrito de Langtern.
En lo que respecta a la estructura de la app, el usuario no puede acceder, crear o modificar el código fuente de ninguna manera. Tampoco tiene derecho ni puede crear trabajos derivados de todo o de alguna parte. Todas las modificaciones o mejoras son propiedad exclusiva de Langtern.
Todos los datos que creas o almacenas en Langtern permanecen en tu dispositivo. Conservas la propiedad y el control total de tus datos. Langtern no tiene acceso, no recopila ni procesa tus datos en servidores externos.
Eres responsable de: * Realizar copias de seguridad de tus datos * El contenido que creas dentro de la aplicación * Mantener la seguridad de tu dispositivo
Si desinstalas la aplicación o pierdes tu dispositivo, tus datos podrían perderse permanentemente.
Los servicios ofrecidos por Langtern estarán disponibles mientras la aplicación esté publicada en Google Play y App Store. Langtern se reserva el derecho a modificar la aplicación atendiendo a las necesidades del momento, por lo que es posible que se lleven a cabo actualizaciones de los servicios ofrecidos.
En caso de que las actualizaciones contengan errores, Langtern intentará subsanarlos lo antes posible.
Langtern se proporciona “tal cual” sin garantías de ningún tipo, ya sean expresas o implícitas. No asumimos ninguna responsabilidad por cualquier problema que puedas experimentar al usar Langtern o en relación con Langtern.
Langtern adoptará medidas razonables para asegurar la calidad y funcionalidad de la aplicación, pero no será responsable de lo que ocurra más allá de su control.
Dado que todos los datos se almacenan localmente en tu dispositivo, Langtern no puede ser responsable de la pérdida de datos debido a fallos del dispositivo, robo, desinstalación u otras circunstancias.
En caso de ser redirigido a otras páginas webs o plataformas de terceros, Langtern no se hará responsable de lo que ocurra a través de la navegación en las mismas.
Esta app está disponible en varios idiomas, de forma que no se hace responsable en caso de que el usuario no comprenda dichos idiomas, ni de los actos que puedan derivar de su falta de comprensión.
En la medida en que lo permita la ley, Langtern no responde del uso incorrecto o imprudente que realicen los usuarios de la app.
El usuario no puede violar o intentar violar la seguridad de la app, hacer web scraping, ni tampoco modificar, aplicar ingeniería inversa, descompilar, desensamblar o manipular de otro modo ninguna parte de la aplicación, así como intentar hacerlo por cualquier motivo o medio. Langtern no será responsable de las consecuencias derivadas de dichas actuaciones en caso de que sucedan.
Como parte de la aplicación, se ofrece un asistente web que permite visitar páginas web de terceros. Dichas páginas de terceros pueden estar regidas por sus propios términos de servicio. Por favor, consulte los términos de servicio de cualquier sitio web que visite a través del asistente web y entienda que puede estar sometido a sus términos al navegar por ellas.
Langtern se reserva el derecho a actualizar y modificar estos textos legales sin previo aviso, por lo que recomienda leer los mismos cada vez que se acceda o use la aplicación.
Cualquier nueva característica que aumente o mejore la aplicación, incluyendo el lanzamiento de nuevas herramientas y recursos, estará sujeta a los textos legales. El uso continuado de la aplicación después de dichos cambios constituirá el consentimiento a los mismos por parte del usuario.
En caso de que alguna cláusula de estos Términos y Condiciones, junto con la Política de Privacidad, sea declarada total o parcialmente nula o ineficaz, dicha nulidad o ineficacia sólo afectará a la misma, subsistiendo las demás condiciones.
Estos Términos y Condiciones, y la Política de Privacidad, se interpretarán y regirán de conformidad con la legislación española. En caso de controversia, se resolverá mediante un Arbitraje de Equidad de la Corte de Arbitraje de las Cámaras de Comercio e Industria de Barcelona, con la renuncia expresa a cualquier otro fuero que pudiera corresponder, salvo disposición expresa de la ley.
